Plug-in Handby *adlovett

Digital Art / 3-Dimensional Art / Abstract

Assignment was to model some things that were in common with each other and then create a sculpture out of them - I chose things you can plug with... hah!

Anyways it's supposed to be a print-ad and my slogan is "dont get caught" - the "meaning" that I wanted to give it is this:

People get caught up in technology - they spend their lives infront of television, computers, etc and people shouldn't get trapped/caught up in technology. Life has so much to offer and although technology is great, it's also a sort of venus fly trap... so don't get caught!

I like the surealism in this piece; I can imagine this being actually made with usb ports and plugs.

naw i modeled it in maya - i would love to explore this idea more in the future, and maybe actually build something like it!

Maya makes more sence: I couldnt imagine this being made in photoshop.
